Interesting analysis. I d...Hello Robin,
Interesting analysis. I do not have anything interesting to say about the analysis you provide. However, I have a few things to say about some of the assumptions you make (it seems to me that they are assumptions still to be verified; but I could be wrong about it. I did not follow the news on this issue very closely; so I could be wrong about it).

1. It seems that the BCCI did not give the reasons for ouster of Mr. Bhogle yet.

1.1 Therefore, it is not clear whether Mr. Bhogle is punished due to his comments against the Indian team/ or talking more about the players of the other time than the players of the Indian team (as Mr. Bacan put it in his tweet).

2. It is not fully clear whether the tweet of Mr. Bachan's tweet which was endorsed by Mr. Dhoni was about Mr. Bhogle (though it is highly probable).

3. Due to 2, it is not conclusive that the tweets under discussion has lead to the expulsion of Mr. Bhogle.

To make your analysis more tenable, I think it might be a good idea to keep these (Bhogle's comments about the Indian team and the tweets from Bachan and Dhoni) as hypothetical causes for the expulsion of Mr. Bhgole. Thus you can say, if these are the reasons behind the expulsions of Mr. Bhogle, then the decision is not justified (due to the arguments you present in your article). I think that will make your arguments more strong.

Disclaimer: To reiterate, I did not follow the news on the issue very closely. So I could be false on holding that the claims you made are conjectures that are yet to be verified. If that is the case, you may please ignore my comments.
Best Regards,
SreejithAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
