More on Video Games and/as Sport

I just came across this story, related to Tait's earlier post, raising the idea of Tetris as an Olympic sport.

Are there non-physical sports? This is one way of looking at the question I posted previously. I am initially inclined to think that if we take the physicality away, then we move from a sport to a game.

On the other hand, perhaps we should not be hasty about what counts as physical. Perhaps video games are physical sports. They involve hand-eye coordination and reflexes, at least.

I can't wait to see that Tetris be included in Olympics. At first, you may think its kind of odd, but you are right, this Video Games can also be called sports, since the game itself has rule. Tetris with a different twist...
